Tabitha began her acting training at the Anna Scher Theatre School in Islington from seven to seventeen. After school, and a year teaching in Namibia, Tabitha then went to Corpus Christi College, Cambridge to study for a degree in English Literature. Whilst there she took part in over fifteen productions in the University drama scene; taking roles as varied as Anita in Alan Ayckbourn’s ‘A Small Family Business’ at the ADC, Anne Deever in Arthur Miller’s ‘All My Sons’ and the titular role in Sophocles’ ‘Antigone’.

After graduating with a 2:1 in 2007, Tabitha spent a year working at the Hampstead Theatre while applying to drama school (even getting to perform there in ‘Mine’ under the direction of Kelly Wilkinson) and started at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2008. On the Post-Graduate Diploma in Acting, she covered techniques for theatre, film, TV and radio including text work; voice work; movement work; dance and mask work; physical theatre, Greek tragedy, Shakespeare, Restoration Comedy, Chekhov and Post-1950 drama; accent work; phonetics; sight-reading; actions and objectives; beats and units. She studied under course director Matthew Smith alongside Martin Coles, David Lee, Jonathan Wolff, Mike Hayden, Tamzin Robertson, Matthew Reeve and Rick Lipton; and was directed by Jessica Turner, Debbie Seymour, Irina Brown, Phil Ormrod, Ariella Eshed and Jonathan Firth.

Since graduating in 2009, Tabitha has worked almost constantly on the London theatre scene; mostly on Classical texts, and Shakespeare in particular, taking roles such as Desdemona (‘Othello’), Lady Macbeth (‘Macbeth’), Hermione (‘The Winter’s Tale’) and Beatrice ('Much Ado About Nothing'). In 2011, Tabitha was chosen to be part of the Acting the Classics company at the Actors Centre in London. This scheme was set up by the Actors Centre, in partnership with the National Theatre, the RSC, Shakespeare’s Globe, and the Young Vic, to respond to a growing concern about the future of Classical Theatre in this country.

To this end, they chose 60 young actors with proven experience in and passion for classical theatre, and provided them with a year-long
programme of subsidised workshops. Through this initiative, Tabitha
has been fortunate enough to work with Fiona Shaw, Mike Alfreds,
Michael Pennington, Matthew Lloyd, Alison Bomber, Cicely Berry,
Hannah Miller, Benet Brandreth, Stephen Kemble and Timothy West.

After a very busy 2013 professionally, in which she played lead roles in the two UK tours as well as appearing in three other stage productions and a short film, Tabitha used 2014 to get married and move to another country! She is now based in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the USA and is currently studying Improvisation at Improv Boston, while working at Cambridge's Central Square Theater. She is now also looking to get involved with Massachusetts' vibrant and thriving theatre scene.

She is dedicated to the art form and works extremely hard to create an individual performance that is not only embodies a character but creates a piece of work that is extremely memorable. During rehearsals she is able to bring along new ideas to aid the work and is well liked by other members of the cast.
